Carolyn Chavez

Carolyn Chavez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration and non-profit management. Currently serving as the Executive Officer to the Commission at Bernalillo County since March 2023, Carolyn previously held roles such as Tiny Home Village Administrator at the same organization and Director of the Center for Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Other notable positions include Senior Program Manager and Program Manager at CNM Ingenuity, Executive Director at Nob Hill Main Street, and Administrator at Macias Recruiting. Carolyn’s early career involved internships and assistant roles, including a Compliance and Finance Intern position at Volunteers of America-Texas and a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas. Carolyn holds a Masters of Public Administration in Non-Profit Management from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of New Mexico.
