Joona Honka has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Joona started their career at Kesko - K-Group in 2010, where they worked in sales for four years. Joona then joined Danske Bank in 2014 and held roles as an Operations Officer, specializing in Exchange Traded Derivatives and managing equities, fixed income, and commodities derivatives. Joona was also part of the Sampo Stock Dematerialization Project, a unique and wide-scale project within the bank. Later, Joona joined Accountor Suomi in 2018 as a Market Analyst, where they leveraged data to solve business problems and led the CRM organization in Finland. Since 2019, they have been working at Berner, first as a Digital Analyst and then moving up to the position of Data Analyst Manager. In this role, Joona established the vision and culture for leveraging data for decision-making, prioritized analytical needs and opportunities, and provided strategic recommendations to drive key business outcomes.

Joona Honka started their education in 2013 at the University of Helsinki, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Joona attended the university for three years, completing their undergraduate studies in 2015. In 2014, they also attended Aalto University, where they studied Accounting for one year. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, Joona returned to the University of Helsinki and began their Master's Degree studies in Economics in 2016. Joona completed their postgraduate studies in 2018, earning an M. Sc in Economics from the University of Helsinki.
