Miikka Salli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Miikka has held various roles at different companies, showcasing their expertise in sales management, account management, sales process development, and market analysis.

Miikka started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Katsa, where they designed gear wheels and gearboxes. Miikka also worked as a Student Counsellor at Aalto University School of Science and Technology during this time.

Miikka then joined ABB as a Production Development Engineer, gaining experience in the field of engineering. Miikka later transitioned to the role of Sales Engineer, specializing in Drives.

After their time at ABB, Miikka worked as a Consultant at Symbioosi Partners Ltd, where they utilized their skills in sales management, account management, sales process development, and market analysis. At Outotec, they served as a Solutions Proposal Manager for Plant Solutions and later as a Sales Manager for Filters, responsible for filter equipment sales in different market areas. At Metso Outotec, they held positions such as Senior Manager for Technical Sales Support & Proposal Management, Director of Minerals Technical Sales Support, Director of Minerals MA Europe, and Segment Director for Chemicals, Battery Chemicals, Metals & Mining.

Throughout their career, Miikka has demonstrated expertise in business leadership, sales, strategy, and leadership responsibilities for businesses with budgets ranging from €150-200 million per year.

Additionally, Miikka has a Master's degree and conducted research on project-based multinational corporations during their studies at Aalto University School of Science and Technology.

Miikka Salli obtained their Executive MBA from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Economics at Aalto University from 2004 to 2011. In 2008 and 2009, they attended Technische Universität Wien, but the specific degree or field of study is not specified. Miikka also studied Corporate Governance at Hanken School of Economics from 2010 to 2014.
