Sirkku Airola has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Sirkku currently works at Berner as a Business Controller for Consumer Goods, where they are responsible for analyzing business performance, profitability improvement, and M&A activities. Prior to that, they worked at Omnicom Media Group Finland, where they served as a Business Controller and Team Lead, overseeing group consolidations, forecasts, and budgets. Sirkku also ensured compliance with finance processes and internal controls. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at Gutta Oy, providing business controlling services and participating in business restructuring projects. Sirkku also gained experience at UPM - The Biofore Company, where they worked as a Specialist in Finance and Control, handling invoice processing and monthly reporting. Additionally, they worked as a Trainee in the Finance department at ABB, assisting with financial analysis and reporting. Sirkku also worked as a Summer trainee at Kesko, managing invoice processing and vendor and buyer contacts.

Sirkku Airola obtained their Master's degree in Economics from the University of Tampere from 2006 to 2012. In 2010, they also pursued exchange studies in Economics, first at the University of Groningen, and then at Utrecht University.
