Richard Hayes

Richard Hayes, CHFM, currently serves as the Regional Director of Asset Management for the Northeast at Bernhard, the largest privately-owned Energy as a Service engineering and contracting firm in the nation. Prior to this role, Hayes was Vice President of Sales for Engineering Services at ABM Industries, where significant revenue growth was achieved following the acquisition of Able Services. Hayes also held key positions at GSH Group as Executive Director of Revenue and at Mace Macro as Managing Director for the Americas, focusing on revitalization and market expansion strategies. An earlier tenure at ABM Industries included leading the largest integrated facilities portfolio and developing a Property Preservation Group. As Founder and CEO of Horizon Financial Corporation, Hayes built a successful financial services company. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SUNY Maritime College, and a Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College of Financial Services.
