Lucy Sexton has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Lucy started their career as a Care & Support Assistant at Bernicia, where they provided administrative support and occasionally served as a Housing Officer. Lucy then became a Management Trainee, gaining exposure to various departments within the company. Lucy later transitioned to the role of Housing Officer, where they provided housing-related support and had extensive knowledge of tenancy management and social issues impacting tenants. Lucy also served as a Safeguarding Officer, handling reports of suspected abuse and coordinating multi-agency support plans for families in need. Lucy eventually became an Operations Team Leader, responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team and contributing to departmental plans and budgets. Currently, they are the Head of Care and Support at Bernicia, and also holds the position of Co-Opted School Governor at AIM HIGH ACADEMY TRUST. Additionally, Lucy has experience in digital media planning for Fat Loss Feast, where they developed strategies to grow the business.

Lucy Sexton received their Bachelor's degree in Management from Teesside University, which they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Foundation Degree in Housing from Leeds Beckett University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In 2010 to 2011, Lucy attended New College Durham, where they pursued a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Managing Housing Services. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Management and Leadership: Growing as a Manager from The Open University in February 2017.
