Paolo Besio

Paolo Besio is a seasoned tax professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. Since July 2011, Paolo has served as a Partner at Bernoni Grant Thornton, an Italian member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd., providing expertise in assisting multinational companies with domestic and cross-border transactions. From January 2002 to June 2011, Paolo was the Group Tax Director at Prada, responsible for defining and implementing the tax strategy for approximately 100 worldwide companies. Prior to that, Paolo worked as a Principal at Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati from April 1988 to December 2001, overseeing the management of domestic and multinational clients, as well as expatriate taxation. Paolo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economy and Business Studies from Università degli Studi di Genova, completed in 1986.
