Christophe Saam

Christophe Saam is an advisor at Bernstein.io. Christophe was previously an IP expert at CTI Start-up and Entrepreneurship, where they advised startups on IP matters and prepared IP assessments for the CTI startup label. Prior to that, they were a European Patent attorney at Bovard Ltd, where they prosecuted and litigated patents and conducted patent searches. Christophe also worked as a R&D engineer at Holtronic Technologies SA for six months, developing electronic instruments for the measure of holograms. In 1990, they founded P&TS Ltd and served as its CEO until joining the European Patent Office as a patent examiner in September 1994.

Christophe Saam has a diploma in electrical engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and a diploma in European patent litigation from the University of Strasbourg. Christophe also has a QPIP from the International Standard Boards for Qualified patent Information Professionals. Christophe has a master's degree in electrical engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and is certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property as a Swiss Patent Attorney and by the European Patent Office as a European Patent Attorney.
