Debbie Heida

Debbie Heida serves as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs at Assumption University since August 2025. With a career spanning nearly two decades at Berry College, where Debbie held roles such as Vice President Emerita, Chief of Staff, and Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, expertise in student affairs and athletics has been developed. Additional experience includes a position as Senior Advisor for the Division of Student Affairs at Duke University and Interim Associate Vice President and Dean of Students from October 2023 to June 2025. Prior to that, Debbie was the Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students at Wittenberg University from 1996 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Higher Education from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Mount Union, along with completion of the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University in 2000.
