Mairo Akpose-Simpson is currently a Trustee at Berry College. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Corporate Human Resources at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC from August 2019 to October 2021. In that role, they were responsible for setting HR strategy to meet business priorities, including succession planning and talent development. Prior to their time at Serta Simmons Bedding, they served as an HR Business Partner and Executive & Professional Coach at WellCare Health Plans from December 2016 to August 2019.
