Morten Svendsen

Morten Svendsen has over 25 years of work experience. Morten started their career in 1996 as a Consultant in Accounting and later became a Consultant in Group Accounting. In 2000, they transitioned to the role of Business Controller at Mercedes-Benz Norway and then became the Director of Finance and Administration at the same company. In 2004, they worked as a Consultant, developing and implementing new ERP-solutions. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Team Leader of Business Intelligence and IT at Bertel O. Steen AS. Most recently, they held the position of Business Intelligence Manager in Finance and Business Controlling at the same company.

Morten Svendsen completed their education at BI Norwegian Business School. Morten obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Accounting and Taxes from 1992 to 1995. Morten later pursued a Master of Management degree from 1998 to 2003 at the same institution.

In terms of additional certifications, Morten Svendsen has obtained several from various institutions. Morten became a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in November 2023. In April 2023, they completed the Beyond Numbers Advanced Storytelling certification from Chartdoktor.com. Morten Svendsen attended the Mastering DAX Workshop by SQLBI in May 2022. Morten also holds Microsoft certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) obtained in October 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) obtained in August 2021, and Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate (DA-100) obtained in April 2021.
