Tord Astad

Tord Astad has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tord is currently working as the Head of Process Improvement Sales at Bertel O. Steen AS since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG Norway as a Senior Manager from October 2020 to August 2021 and as a Manager from April 2017 to September 2020, specializing in Management Consulting, Procurement & Supply Chain.

Before joining KPMG Norway, Tord had work experience at Bane NOR, where they served as a Lean Navigator (Intern Consultant) from July 2016 to April 2017 and as a Junior Lean Navigator (Intern Consultant) from May 2015 to July 2016. Tord's previous experience includes working at Trebuchet AS as a Senior Associate - Supply Chain from November 2012 to September 2013 and as an Associate - Supply Chain from August 2010 to November 2012. Tord was responsible for Purchase to Pay processes for selected clients and had various tasks related to forecasting, procurement planning, master data management, and order monitoring.

Tord began their career at Sportsnett Norge AS as a Selger (Salesman) specializing in expedition, climbing, and backcountry travel from May 2004 to August 2010. Tord also served as an Instructor and Sergeant at Tord'sMajesty the King's Guard (HMKG) - Norwegian Army from June 2003 to June 2004.

Tord Astad obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Logistics from Molde University College from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Befalskolen for Hærens Kampvåpen from 2002 to 2003, where they earned the degree of Sergeant in Light Infantry.
