Burkhard Tyrell

Burkhard Tyrell has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Burkhard started their career in 2000 as a Referent Konzernrechnungswesen at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. Burkhard then joined Arvato in 2003 as Vice President Corporate Reporting. In 2013, they moved back to Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a Senior Vice President, leading the Accounting Shared Services Process & Applications. In 2016, Burkhard joined Bertelsmann Accounting Services GmbH as Vice President Controlling & Service Management, and also held the role of Vice President Process & Applications. Burkhard continued in this position until 2023 when they transitioned to their current role at Bertelsmann Global Business Services GmbH as Vice President Controlling & Service Management.

Burkhard Tyrell received their education at the following institutions:

- From 1989 to 1991, they studied at Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale Muenster, earning a degree in Bankkaufmann.

- From 1991 to 1996, they attended the University of Münster, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Kaufmann in the field of Betriebswirtschaftslehre.

- Lastly, from 1996 to 2000, they pursued further studies at the University of Münster, graduating with a Dr. rer. pol. degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
