Christian Eigen

Christian Eigen has a strong background in leadership and technology roles within the Bertelsmann group of companies. Christian currently serves as the Managing Director and CTO at Bertelsmann Global Business Services GmbH since June 2023. Prior to this, they held senior positions at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA, including Senior Vice President of Business Applications from December 2016 to June 2023 and Vice President of Business Applications in 2016. Christian also served as the Vice President for SAP - Corporate Information Systems and Director of Corporate Information Systems at Bertelsmann arvato AG from 2000 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at different companies, including Bertelsmann Services GmbH, Bertelsmann Corporate Services, Bertelsmann Distribution GmbH, Bertelsmann Distributions GmbH, Bertelsmann Zentrale Informationsverarbeitung GmbH, and Kluge+Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH.

Christian Eigen attended the Siemens Technik Akademie in Munich from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a Staal. geprüfter Ingenieurassistent degree in Datentechnik. From 1987 to 1993, they studied Wirtschafts-Ingenieur - Elektrotechnik at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, earning a Diplom degree.
