Mike Gardner is an experienced finance and operations professional with a diverse background in various educational and consulting environments. Currently serving as Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Bertschi School since 2012, Mike oversees finance, accounting, and operational functions for a premier PK-5 independent school in the greater Seattle area. Previous roles include serving as an independent finance and strategy consultant for Seattle Waldorf School, CFOO at The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle, and Senior Project Manager at Global Advisory & Healthcare Group. Mike co-founded Hoku Scientific, Inc. and held the CFO position, directing strategic and financial planning for the renewable energy startup. Additional experience includes consulting roles at The Lucas Group and Arthur Andersen & Co. with a focus on strategic planning, corporate recovery, and financial auditing. Mike holds an MBA in Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BS from Dartmouth College.
