Kathy McAree

Kathy McAree is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community relations, sales, and culinary tourism. Currently serving as the Community Relations Manager at Berwick Retirement Communities since September 2020, Kathy previously held roles in corporate sales and public relations at Silk Road, and as a Product Consultant at BC Liquor Distribution Branch, where skills in customer service and inventory management were honed. As a freelance food and travel writer, contributions to various publications, including EAT Magazine and the Victoria Times Colonist, highlight Kathy's expertise in culinary tourism, demonstrated further by authorship and editorial roles in significant culinary publications. Kathy founded Travel With Taste, a premier culinary tour company, and hosted the "In Good Taste" radio show on CFAX, showcasing a deep engagement with the local food and wine scene.
