Mahavir Chopra

Mahavir Chopra has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. Mahavir is the Founder of Beshak.org since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Coverfox Insurance, starting as the Director of Life & Health Insurance & Strategic Initiatives in November 2014 and later becoming the Chief Business Officer in September 2019 until February 2020.

Before their time at Coverfox Insurance, Mahavir held the position of Vice President ~ eBusiness at Marsh from July 2013 to November 2014.

From April 2009 to July 2013, Mahavir was the Head of eBusiness (Online) & Retail Insurance Initiatives at Medimanage Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd., where they strategized, built, and led a successful online retail insurance business.

Prior to that, Mahavir held several roles at Bonsai Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. from December 2005 to March 2009, including CEO, Director of eBusiness, and CFO.

Mahavir started their career at Ernst & Young as a Trainee and then Consultant from 2000 to 2002, following which they worked as an Articled Trainee at Ashok Kumar Mehra & Co. from 1998 to 1999.

Mahavir Chopra obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1999 and 2001. Mahavir also completed a CA program in Finance, Accounts, Tax, and Economics at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics in 2001. In 2012, they received Brokers Training from the Insurance Institute of India in General Insurance. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Google Analytics Individual Certified from Google, Inc. in 2010. Mahavir attended St. Stanislaus High School from 1986 to 1996.
