Daniel Hjortström

Daniel Hjortström has extensive work experience in the energy and automotive industries.

Daniel began their career at E.ON Gas, where they held various executive positions from 2002 to 2016. As the General Manager of the LPG Business, they were responsible for all aspects of the business, including purchasing, storage, logistics, marketing, and sales. Daniel also served as the Acting General Manager of the Gas Grid Business, responsible for its budget, planning, and strategic direction. Additionally, they held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the company's market interface and sales operations.

Prior to their time at E.ON Gas, Hjortström worked as a Corporate Strategic Analyst at E.ON Nordic, providing strategic advice to the management board. In this role, they developed long-term forecasting, conducted competitor analysis, and played a key role in major investment decisions. Earlier in their career, they served as the Head of Revenue Controlling at Sydkraft Elnät, where they monitored revenue development and provided material for tariff development.

Most recently, Hjortström worked at Besikta Bilprovning as the VD/CEO. In this role, they led the Swedish vehicle inspection company, overseeing a team of 600 employees and 196 stations. Daniel focused on simplifying car ownership and improving road safety through superior knowledge and customer satisfaction.

Daniel Hjortström earned a Master's degree in Technology Management and Business Administration from Lund University. Daniel attended from 1997 to 2002 for both degrees.
