Matt Gallagher

Matt Gallagher, CSC, currently serves as the Head of Defence and Security Infrastructure at BESIX, where the focus is on driving growth in the defence sector through strategic positioning and client relationship-building. Previously, Matt held the role of Director at KPMG Australia, specializing in project delivery for Defence and Government sectors. With a robust background in Defence, operational planning, and infrastructure management, Matt has led various significant projects, including major capital initiatives within the Pacific and held senior operational roles in the Australian Army. Education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Project Management and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from UNSW, along with specialized training in military operations and strategy. Additionally, Matt is a qualified Master Scuba Diver.
