Spencer Houghton

Spencer Houghton currently serves as the COO and General Counsel at Bessemer Venture Partners since 2021. Prior to this role, Spencer founded and was the Managing Director at Belltower from 2018 to 2020 and also served as an Advisor at AngelList from 2015 to 2020. Earlier experience includes practicing as a startup and venture capital attorney at Gunderson Dettmer from 2012 to 2014 and as an Associate Attorney at Latham & Watkins in 2011-2012. Spencer Houghton earned a degree from the University of Southern California between 2008 and 2011.
