Darren Ziegler

Darren Ziegler has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Darren currently serves as the Deputy Director of PRA Services & E-Discovery Counsel at Best Best & Krieger LLP (BB&K) since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Deputy County Counsel at the County of Riverside from February 2021 to October 2022. Before joining the public sector, they were an Advanced Records Center Staff Attorney at Best Best & Krieger LLP from November 2020 to January 2021. Darren also gained experience as a Deputy City Attorney at the City of Moreno Valley from May 2017 to August 2020 and as a Legal Intern/Volunteer Attorney at the City of San Diego from September 2016 to April 2017. Additionally, they served as a Research Assistant to Professor Paul Marcus from August 2014 to May 2016. Darren also gained legal experience as a Law Student Intern at the United States Attorney's Office in May 2015, as a Legal Extern at the Federal Public Defender in January 2015, and as a Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia from May 2014 to August 2014. Lastly, they worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at the Center for Legal & Court Technology from August 2013 to May 2014.

Darren Ziegler obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2010. Darren then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at William & Mary Law School, which they completed in 2016.
