Akshay Jain

Akshay Jain is a seasoned professional in machine learning and data science with a comprehensive background in algorithm development and application across various domains. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Best Buy Health since May 2022, Akshay previously held the position of Sensors & Algorithms Engineer at Garmin, where responsibilities included the research and implementation of algorithms integrating IMU sensor data. Academic experience includes significant contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri, focusing on projects related to blood pressure data visualization, natural language generation, and health data analysis. Akshay holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Data Science, along with a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
