Newton Guillen

Newton Guillen is an experienced executive in product development and technology strategy, currently serving as Vice President & General Manager at Best Buy - Exclusive Brands since May 2011. Prior roles include Senior Director of Global Engineering and Technology Strategy and Director of Global Engineering at Best Buy. Prior to this, Newton held various positions at Audiovox, including Director of Product Development for Consumer Products, and at Thomson Multimedia, where responsibilities included Product Development Manager for Digital AV Software. Newton began a career as a Project Engineer and Design Engineer at Dolby Laboratories. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, both from Purdue University.
