Ramesh Babu

Ramesh Babu is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data, AI platforms, and engineering within the consumer technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Data & AI Platforms and Testing & Learning Platforms at Best Buy, Ramesh Babu has played a pivotal role in driving the modernization and development of the company's Enterprise Data Platform and Experimentation Platform since October 2011. Previous roles at Best Buy include Senior Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Associate Director of Web Engineering, where Ramesh Babu led teams focused on AI/ML capabilities and innovative web solutions. Prior experience includes positions at United Health Group as a Java Consultant, and at Wipro Technologies as a Technical Architect and Lead for Best Buy projects. Ramesh Babu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Anna University, and a Master Diploma in Information Technology from Tata Infotech Education.
