Jim Gunning

Jim Gunning has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jim started their career at Red Bull in 1997, where they served as the Director of Sports Sponsorships for over a decade. During their time there, they developed and managed the North American sport sponsorship program, working with a large number of athletes and overseeing motorsport sponsorships.

After leaving Red Bull, Jim joined BBS as a Managing Director in 2007. In this role, they oversaw the US operations of the company, specializing in racing and high-end aftermarket wheels. Additionally, they managed the company's OE program, providing original equipment to premium companies such as Ferrari, Porsche, and BMW.

In 2008, Jim moved on to Q Sport Architects, where they worked as a Partner. The firm specializes in strategic brand building and marketing consulting services. Jim's responsibilities included brand development strategy, sponsorship management, field activation, trade marketing support, and event concepts and execution.

From 2013 to 2017, Jim served as the Managing Director of RESQWATER, a company focused on developing and marketing a recovery drink. Following this, they joined Boxman Studios as the Director of Business Development from 2018 to 2019, where they played a key role in driving business growth.

In 2019, Jim took on the role of VP Global Marketing at Blue Sky Biologicals, where they contributed to the company's global marketing efforts.

More recently, Jim worked as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Mydecine Innovations Group from June 2020 to August 2021. Mydecine Innovations Group is a publicly traded life sciences parent company specializing in adaptive pathway medicine, natural health products, and digital health solutions derived from fungi.

Currently, Jim is serving as the CMO at Best Day Brewing, a position they commenced in August 2021.

Jim Gunning attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1983 to 1986. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
