Brian McGill

Brian McGill has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Brian is currently working as the Data and Analytics Director at Best Egg since 2022. Previously, they held positions at CommonBond.co and Capital One. At CommonBond.co, they worked as a VP of Data and Analytics from February 2022 to August 2022, and before that, they worked as the Director of Data and Analytics from May 2021 to February 2022. At Capital One, they served as the Manager of Data Science from July 2018 to May 2021, and prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist from July 2016 to July 2018. Brian also gained experience as a Data Scientist Intern at Capital One Auto Finance in 2015 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2013 to May 2015.

Brian McGill completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics, Actuarial Mathematics, and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2010. Brian then pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Later, Brian went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2012 to 2017.
