Chief Mission Officer, Best Friends Animal Society at Best Friends Animal Society

Holly Sizemore is a seasoned leader in animal welfare, currently serving as Chief Mission Officer at Best Friends Animal Society since August 2010. In this role, Holly oversees legislative advocacy, regional programs, and the national No Kill advancement efforts, focusing on mentorship, partner capacity-building, training, and executive leadership. Previously, Holly held several key positions within the organization, including Chief National Programs Officer and Director of National Programs, where responsibilities included developing and implementing nationwide programs aligned with the strategic plan. Prior to Best Friends Animal Society, Holly was the Executive Director of No More Homeless Pets in Utah, managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. Holly holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Utah.
