Juan Hernandez

Juan Hernandez is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing accessibility technology and software solutions. Currently employed at Best Friends Animal Society since July 2021, Juan previously worked at Aira.IO from June 2015 to October 2019. Earlier in the career, Juan served as an Access Technology Specialist and Instructor at the Braille Institute of America, San Diego Center, focusing on access technology training, curriculum development, and consulting on various accessibility systems. Juan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from National University and has completed additional coursework through Coursera. Juan's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University and an Associate of Arts from San Diego Mesa College.
