Erik Dykema

Erik Dykema has over twelve years of experience in the legal field. In 2008, they began their career as a Legal Intern in the Internet Bureau at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York. Erik then joined King & Spalding, LLP in 2010 as an Associate, where they counseled U.S. and foreign clients in connection with the litigation, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement of patent, copyright, and trademark rights. In 2013, they co-founded CaseRails and served as the CEO and CTO, where they focused on improving the legal document workflow. Erik also served as an Adjunct Professor at New York University in 2014. From 2015 to 2020, they held roles as Attorney & CTO at Upshaw PLLC, Of Counsel at Zeller IP Group PLLC, Of Counsel at Bochner IP, General Counsel at Allelo, and General Counsel at Best-In-Class MD (BICMD).

Erik Dykema attended Brooklyn Law School from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Intellectual Property Law. Prior to that, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
