Rosemary Townley is an experienced arbitrator and mediator, currently serving as a Public Member of the New York State Public Employment Relations Board since July 2021, and as a member of the Public Arbitration Roster for FINRA since January 2018. Townley has been self-employed as an arbitrator, mediator, and fact-finder through Townley ADR, PC, since January 1986, and has contributed to the field as an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John's University School of Law in 1994. Recognized as a Fellow by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Distinguished Neutral in Sports Law by the CPR Institute, Townley has a strong academic background with degrees including a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Additionally, Rosemary has held various prestigious roles and recognitions in the arbitration community, including serving as a contract arbitrator for the NFL Players Association from 2007 to 2015.
