Ben King

Ben King has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and emergency medical services field. Ben started their career as a Paramedic at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in 2006 and later worked as a Critical Care Paramedic at BIG HORN COUNTY EMS from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Summit Air Ambulance as a Flight Paramedic, Educator, and Project Coordinator, where they were part of the team that launched the first air medical service in Bozeman, Montana. Ben provided critical care aligned with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.

In 2013, Ben took on multiple roles simultaneously, including being a Medical Professional at Big Sky Resort, where they provided advanced life support and presented continuing education topics to the ski patrol. Ben also became a Clinical Instructor at Bozeman Health, leading interdisciplinary training in ACLS, PALS, and PEARS for hospital-based clinicians and prehospital providers. Additionally, they served as a Paramedic Lab Instructor at Montana State University-Bozeman during this time.

Ben's career continued to progress, and in 2015, they became the CEO of Best Practice Medicine, a clinician-owned and founded team that specializes in experiential healthcare education and impacts the lives of millions of patients annually. Ben expanded this organization from a part-time education organization into three business units employing hundreds of people.

Ben King obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Paramedicine from NHTI, Concord's Community College, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Ben then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Rocky Mountain College from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they hold a Master's degree in Changing Healthcare from the School of Hard Knocks and Bloody Knuckles.

In terms of certifications, Ben King obtained an Eagle Scout certification from the Boy Scouts of America in June 2003.
