Meagan Slater

Meagan Slater is a seasoned Veterinary Professional specializing in poultry medicine, currently serving as a Technical Service Veterinarian at Best Veterinary Solutions Inc since November 2017. Meagan holds a Master’s Degree in Avian Medicine from The University of Georgia and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. Prior experience includes roles as a 4th Year Veterinary Student Extern at various institutions, where Meagan assisted in diagnostic necropsies, sampled for disease testing, conducted welfare audits, and engaged in educational efforts regarding avian health. With a strong foundation in veterinary technology and poultry diagnostics, Meagan has developed expertise in flock management, disease prevention, and veterinary care.
