Tara Slevin

Tara Slevin is the vice president and chief philanthropy officer for Jennie Edmundson Foundation.

She has extensive experience at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, joining the staff in 1994 as assistant director of volunteer services. She also served as director of volunteers and foundation and vice president of development and volunteers before assuming her current role in 2020.

Slevin, who earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha, is very active in the community.

Slevin is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, Leadership Council Bluffs, and Leadership Iowa. She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the Association for Fundraising Professionals and the Council Bluffs Civil Service Commission. She’s also a charter member of the Foundation Professionals for Iowa Hospitals.
