Akshay Ajagekar

Akshay Ajagekar currently serves as a Quantitative Researcher at BestEx Research since January 2025, following a role as a Scientist at the Process-Energy-Environmental Systems Engineering Lab from February 2024 to January 2025. Previously, Akshay gained experience as a Research Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2021 and as a B.Tech Research Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, where notable work included constructing a 480 MHz bandwidth spectrometer for studying microwave spectra. Akshay also completed a research internship at Nanyang Technological University focusing on the complexation of polyelectrolytes relevant to drug delivery and pharmaceuticals. Academic credentials include a PhD in Systems Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a B.Tech in Chemical Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna.
