David Long

David Long has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David is currently working at Bestpass, where they hold the positions of Vice President of Product Management and Head of Product Management. Prior to that, they worked at Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) as a Growth Fellow.

From 2018 to 2020, David worked at Verra Mobility as a Senior Program Manager. During this time, they managed core PMO processes, developed solutions using Azure Dev Ops and Power BI, and implemented tools for tracking and addressing company-wide issues.

Before joining Verra Mobility, David was the Director of Project Management Office at Highway Toll Administration, LLC. David established a Project Management Office and implemented a strategy for capturing project and program metrics. David also served as the Director of Product Management, leading a team of product managers and introducing "Design Sprints" for rapid prototyping. David started their journey at Highway Toll Administration, LLC as a Technical Program Manager.

David's prior experience includes working as a Senior Technical Project Manager at eir Ireland and as a Program Specialist at Dig Big Data. David also worked at BlackBerry and NewBay Software, where they held roles such as Program Manager, Developer Program Manager, and Senior Project Manager.

Earlier in their career, David founded Zeraphina Technologies Ltd and served as the CEO.

David Long completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University from 1995 to 1999. David then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electronic Commerce (Technical) from Dublin City University from 2000 to 2001. In 2006, they obtained a Level C Certified Project Manager certification from the Irish Institute of Project Management. David also completed a Diploma in Applied Project Management from University College Cork from 2005 to 2006.

In recent years, David has obtained additional certifications. In 2016-2017, they completed a Nanodegree in Virtual Reality Development from Udacity. David also obtained a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma from Purdue University in 2017. In 2019, they completed another Nanodegree in Programming for data science from Udacity. Most recently, in 2022, David completed a course on Multi product plays in B2B SaaS from Sphere, earning a degree in Product Management.
