Carlos Baptista

Carlos Baptista serves as Vice-President and Director at APAVT - Associação Portuguesa das Agências de Viagens e Turismo since January 2021. Additionally, Carlos holds the position of Administrator at Grupo GEA Portugal and Bestravel, both since November 2022 and October 2018 respectively. Since October 2014, Carlos has been involved with Newtour as a member of the Executive Commission and Business Development Manager. Other roles include General Director and Administrator at Picos de Aventura and Co-Founder and Manager of Click2Deal, an e-commerce platform for tourist services. Carlos has established a robust background in marketing, sales, financial analysis, and operational management through various positions at companies such as Groupon Portugal, Accenture, Banco Espírito Santo, and Deloitte. Carlos holds an MSc in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, complemented by an ERASMUS program at Universidad Pública de Navarra.
