Edgar McGonigal

Edgar McGonigal, CPA has a vast and impressive work experience in the field. Edgar began their career as Managing Partner at Bailey, Williams, McGonigal & Knowles where they held numerous responsibilities, including tax planning and preparation, consulting on business acquisitions and divestitures, and general business planning and consulting. Edgar also oversaw the computerization of the firm's accounting practice.

Afterward, they became a Partner at Katz, Sapper & Miller, followed by serving as Vice President of Development at Shriners Hospitals for Children, where they created and implemented a successful development program.

Edgar then joined Larry J Herring, CPA, PA as the Manager of Client Services before establishing their own company, Edgar R McGonigal, CPA, PA, where they focus on providing tax planning, management consulting, and accounting services with a personal touch.

In addition to their private practice, Edgar McGonigal has also held significant roles in nonprofit organizations such as Orlando Lutheran Towers Foundation, where they served as President, and Rotary Club of Orlando, where they were the Treasurer.

Their most recent position was as CFO at Bestway Express, Inc. The depth and breadth of their experience make him a highly competent CPA with expertise in various areas, including business formation, sales and acquisitions, succession planning, and estate planning.

Edgar McGonigal, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Edgar completed their undergraduate education from 1971 to 1974.
