BETAH Associates
Beth Slucher, MEd has a wide range of work experience. Beth has been a High School English Teacher since 2011, starting at Paul VI High School, then St. Luke School, and most recently Fairfax High School. In 2020, they became a Project Specialist and Editor/Writer for BETAH Associates, Inc. under contract with the Department of Justice. In 2008, they were an Editor/Writer for Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2009, they completed a Teaching Internship at Fairfax High School to obtain a teaching certification for secondary education in English for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Before that, they were a Managing Editor for ART WORLD NEWS from 1996-1995, and a Senior Editor for Scientific and Commercial Systems Corporation from 1995-1994. Lastly, they were a Marketing and Promotions Assistant for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1994.
Beth Slucher, MEd has an extensive education history. Beth obtained a Master's of Education from George Mason University in 2006-2011, focusing on curriculum and instruction. Beth also obtained a desktop publishing certificate from The George Washington University in 1992-1995, focusing on publications. Before that, they obtained a BA in Photojournalism from the University of Connecticut in 1978-1982, with a focus on political science, history, journalism, and photography. Additionally, they obtained a Postgraduate Professional English Teaching License from the Commonwealth of Virginia in July 2020.
