Arieh Warshel is a Nobel Prize winner in chemistry (2013) for the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems. Professor Warshel is a pioneer in computational studies on functional properties of biological molecules. Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA, also worked in other renowned research institutes, such as Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at Cambridge, England.
