Stefanos Karakidis

Stefanos Karakidis has over a decade of experience in the sports betting industry, with a history of leadership roles in business development and trading. Stefanos is currently the Head of Sportsbook at Markor Technology, responsible for overseeing the entire operations. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Business Development Manager at BETBY. Between 2017 and 2021, they worked at Sportradar AG as the Head of ITS (Integrated Trading Solutions) and Operational Account Manager. Before that, Stefanos held the position of Sports Marketing Specialist at bwin.party digital entertainment and Trader/Client Risk Manager and Head of Trading at Offsidegaming. Stefanos began their career in the industry as a Greek Customer Agent at Betclic Everest Group and Finance Assistant at EC MALTA.

Stefanos Karakidis obtained their Bachelor of Economics degree from the University Ioannina between 2005 to 2009. Stefanos later completed an Executive MBA in Sports Management at Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea from 2018 to 2019. In 2000, Karakidis obtained a certification for Semi-Professional Football Player from Orfeas Elef/Polis & Syrrako. Stefanos also obtained Official Referee certification from Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), completed in June 2011.
