Liz Maier

Liz Maier is currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham since August 2023. Previously, Liz served as a Registered Nurse at UMass Memorial Medical Center from January 2023 to April 2024, focusing on transfer center care coordination. Liz has also held academic positions as an Associate Professor of nursing at both Roxbury Community College and Bay State College in 2022. In addition to clinical roles, Liz volunteered as an educator with Nepris Inc., presenting nursing and travel nursing topics to high school students. Liz's nursing experience includes travel nursing in emergency medicine at prominent facilities such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Queen of the Valley Medical Center, and UCI Medical Center, which is recognized as a leading trauma and burn center. Liz holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the State University of New York at Delhi and is pursuing further education at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
