Christine Powers

Christine Powers, MPH, MBA, serves as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since May 2021. Previously, Powers held the positions of Senior EHS Specialist and EH&S Specialist II at Bentley University from May 2012 to May 2021, focusing on compliance with safety regulations and training program development. Powers also contributed as a consultant to Preserve while pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health at Boston University, enhancing product testing protocols. Early career experiences include various EHS roles at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems from February 1998 to December 2011, where Powers ensured compliance and safety for numerous employees across different environments. Powers holds an MBA in Leadership from Bentley University, an MPH in Environmental Health from Boston University, and a Certificate in Environmental Management from Tufts University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Regis College.
