Lars Stangenberg

Lars Stangenberg is an accomplished vascular surgeon and academic with extensive experience in the field of surgery. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a Vascular Surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Lars has held various prestigious positions, including Vascular Surgeon at University Surgical Associates and Clinical Assistant Professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior experience includes a Clinical Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and multiple residencies in General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Maine Medical Center. Lars holds an M.D. and Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Freiburg, with a postdoctoral research focus on molecular imaging related to immunology and cancer.
