Lisa Cohen

Lisa Cohen is an experienced social work professional with a diverse background in various roles within the field. Currently, Lisa serves as the Social Work Program Leader for the Cognitive Neurology Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since February 2019. Prior to this role, Lisa worked as an Adjustment Counselor at Needham Public Schools for a brief period in 2018. Lisa's extensive experience includes holding positions as Interim Co-CEO and Executive Vice President, as well as Chief Program Officer at Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston from December 1991 to August 2018. Additionally, Lisa practiced as a Clinical Social Worker in private practice from 1987 to 2000 and was the Program Manager at New England Home for Little Wanderers from 1984 to 1991. Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work, completed between 1982 and 1984.
