Ludy Shih serves as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of Deep Brain Stimulation at Boston University School of Medicine since April 2020. In addition, Ludy Shih holds the position of Associate Editor for the Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology with Wiley since January 2023 and has been a member of the Medical Advisory Board for The International Essential Tremor Foundation since 2012. Previously, Ludy Shih was an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and had various roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Biogen in clinical development for pain and movement disorders. Ludy Shih's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where responsibilities included directing both the Deep Brain Stimulation Program and the Movement Disorders Fellowship Program. Ludy Shih's education includes an MMSc in Clinical Investigation from Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology, an MD from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and a BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
