Sidhu Gangadharan

Sidhu Gangadharan serves as the Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since August 2005, overseeing an academic surgical division with clinical activities across a broad healthcare network, a significant research footprint, and educational responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Additionally, Sidhu Gangadharan is a Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps, specifically with the 378th Surgical Detachment. Previous experience includes training as a Cardiothoracic Surgery Resident and General Surgery Resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital from June 1996 to June 2005. Sidhu Gangadharan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Dartmouth College, a Doctor of Medicine from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and a Master of Health Care Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
