Syed Tahir

Syed Tahir is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Specialist currently serving at Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA, since July 2008, where also holds the titles of Chief of the Section of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. In addition to this role, Syed Tahir has been affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since November 2013 and Tufts Medical Center since July 2007, where responsibilities include serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and conducting an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. Previous experience includes completing a Cardiology Fellowship at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston (2004-2007) and serving as Chief Medical Resident during Internal Medicine residency (2000-2004) at the same institution. Syed Tahir’s academic background includes a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School (1998-2000) in Hematology/Oncology and Immunology, and an MBBS degree from Dow University of Health Sciences (1991-1997).
