Doug Hartzell is an experienced professional in clinical informatics, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Informatics at The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital since June 2020. Previous roles include Clinical Application Specialist at eetain group and Senior Consultant at Leidos, where significant contributions to nursing informatics were made. Doug's career began at INTEGRIS Health as the CareNet System Manager, with expertise in clinical documentation and Cerner systems. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from the University of Oklahoma, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University, and an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Central Christian College of Kansas.

Bethany Children's Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
