Nico Gomez is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in health care administration and leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Bethany Children's Health Center since January 2020, Nico has previously held significant positions including Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. From July 2012 to July 2022, Nico taught Leadership in Health Care Administration as an Adjunct Professor at Southern Nazarene University. As President and CEO of the Oklahoma Association of Health Care Providers from October 2016 to December 2019, Nico represented over 18,000 residents and 19,000 professionals in Oklahoma's long-term care facilities. Prior experience includes serving as CEO of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, which managed a Medicaid program with over $5 billion in annual revenue and earned recognition as a Top Workplace. Additionally, Nico has held various roles at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Southern Nazarene University.

Bethany Children's Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
