Brian S.m. Ryu

Brian S.M. Ryu serves as the Youth Pastor at Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church since July 2021 and has extensive experience in education and publishing. As a Senior Rights Manager at Christian Publishing House since 1999, Brian has developed strong expertise in rights management. Previous roles include Middle School Teacher at The Friends School of Atlanta from August 2015 to July 2021, and Youth Pastor at Bethany Presbyterian Church (Marietta) from June 2012 to May 2014. Additional experience includes roles at Tides, where Brian was a Philanthropic Services Assistant, and the Threshold Foundation, serving as Grants Administrator. Brian also has a diverse teaching background, having worked as Head Teacher for 2nd and 3rd Grades at Boys and Girls Clubs of America and After-School Program Coordinator at 21st Century Academy (SFUSD). Brian obtained a Master of Divinity from Regent College (2006-2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, alongside Spanish from Bowdoin College (1997-2001).
